The people of Noah cried lies to the Envoys 105 When their brother Noah said to them, "Will you have no fear of God? 106 I am a trustworthy Messenger sent to you. 107 be, then, conscious of God, and pay heed unto me! 108 I ask of you no wage for this; my wage falls only upon the Lord of all Being; 109 so fear you God, and obey you me.' 110 ۞ They said: "Shall we believe in thee when it is the meanest that follow thee?" 111 He said: I have no knowledge of that which they have been Working. 112 “Indeed their account is only upon my Lord, if you perceive.” 113 I am not going to drive away any believers. 114 I am only a plain warner." 115 They said: If thou cease not, O Noah, thou wilt surely be among those stoned (to death). 116 Noah said, "My Lord, my people have rejected me, 117 “Therefore make a decisive judgement between me and them, and rescue me and the believers along with me.” 118 Wherefore We delivered him and those with him in the laden ark. 119 Then We drowned the rest (disbelievers) thereafter. 120 Verily in this is a Sign: but most of them do not believe. 121 But surely your Lord is mighty and merciful. 122
