(Muhammad), remind them, by the Grace of your Lord, that you are neither a soothsayer or an insane person. 29 Or do they say:- "A Poet! we await for him some calamity (hatched) by Time!" 30 Say thou: "Await ye!- I too will wait along with you!" 31 Do their minds command them this [i.e. to tell a lie against you (Muhammad SAW)] or are they people exceeding the bounds (i.e. from Belief in Allah to disbelief). 32 Or do they say, 'He has invented it?' Nay, but they do not believe. 33 Let them then produce a recital like unto it,- If (it be) they speak the truth! 34 Were they created of nothing, or were they themselves the creators? 35 Or did they create the heavens and the earth? Rather, they are not certain. 36 [How could they?] Are thy Sustainer's treasures with them? Or are they in charge [of destiny]? 37 Or have they a ladder, by which they can (climb up to heaven and) listen (to its secrets)? Then let (such a) listener of theirs produce a manifest proof. 38 Hath He daughters and ye sons? 39 Or do you ask them for a reward, so that they are over-burdened by debt? 40 Is with them the Unseen, and they write it down! 41 Or are they planning a conspiracy? So the conspiracy will befall only upon the disbelievers. 42 Do they have another god besides God? God is too exalted to be considered equal to the idols. 43 And if they were to see a piece of the heaven falling down, they would say: "Clouds gathered in heaps!" 44 Therefore leave them, until they confront their day, in which they will be stunned. 45 the Day when none of their scheming will be of the least avail to them, and they will receive no succour. 46 And there surely awaits the evildoers a chastisement beyond even that, but most of them know it not. 47 So wait patiently for the Judgement of your Lord -- you are certainly under Our watchful eye. And glorify and celebrate the praises of your Lord when you rise up [from your sleep]. 48 And glorify Him in the night and when the stars begin to wane. 49
Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
