The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)
In the name of God, The Most Gracious, The Dispenser of Grace
By the (Steeds) that run, with panting (breath), 1 And striking off fire by dashing their hoofs. 2 Then those charging in the morning 3 And therein raising dust. 4 Penetrating forthwith as one into the midst (of the foe); 5 Truly man is, to his Lord, ungrateful; 6 He himself bears witness to that. 7 And indeed he is, in love of wealth, intense. 8 ۞ Does he not know that on the day when those in the graves are resurrected 9 And the hearts' contents shall be brought into the open? 10 that on that Day their Sustainer [will show that He] has always been fully aware of them? 11
God the Almighty always says the truth.
