Charity (Al-Maa'oon)

7 verses, revealed in Mecca after Hoarding (Al-Takaathur) before The Disbelievers (Al-Kaaferoon)

In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful

Have you seen the one who denies the Recompense? 1 That is he who repelleth the orphan, 2 And does not urge to feed the needy. 3 Woe, then, to those who pray, 4 Who are heedless of their prayer; 5 Those who do good deeds only to be seen (of men), 6 And refuse Al-Ma'un (small kindnesses e.g. salt, sugar, water, etc.). 7
