And mention Musa in the Book; surely he was one purified, and he was an apostle, a prophet. 51 And We called to him from the blessed side of the mountain, and We made him draw nigh, holding communion (with Us). 52 And bestowed on him his brother Aaron, a prophet, through Our benevolence. 53 And recite in the Book the account of Ishmael. He was ever true to his promise, and was a Messenger, a Prophet. 54 He enjoined his household to observe Prayer and to give Zakah (purifying alms); and his Lord was well pleased with him. 55 And recite in the Book the account of Idris. He was a man of truth, a Prophet; 56 We granted him a high position. 57 These were the Prophets from the offspring of Adam, from those who embarked with Noah and from the offspring of Abraham and Israel. God guided them and chose them for His favor. Whenever they would hear the revelations of the Beneficent God they would bow down in prostration with tears. ۩ 58 ۞ They were succeeded by a generation who neglected their prayers and followed their worldly desires. They will certainly be lost, 59 except he who repents and believes and does good works; those shall be admitted to Paradise and shall not be wronged in any way. 60 Theirs shall be the Gardens of Eden, which the All Merciful has promised to His servants without their having seen them, and most surely His promise shall be fulfilled. 61 They will not hear therein anything vain, only greetings of peace. They will receive their provision there morning and evening. 62 Such is the Garden which We shall cause those of Our bondmen to inherit who have been God-fearing. 63 We never descend except at your Lord's command. What is before us and behind us and all that lies between belong to Him. Your Lord is not forgetful. 64 Lord of the heavens and the earth and all that is between them, so worship Him, be patient in His worship. Do you know any that can be named with His Name' 65
