And We did not create the heaven and the earth and what is between them in vain; that is the opinion of those who disbelieve then woe to those who disbelieve on account of the fire. 27 Shall We treat those who believe and work deeds of righteousness, the same as those who do mischief on earth? Shall We treat those who guard against evil, the same as those who turn aside from the right? 28 [This is] a blessed Book which We have revealed to you, [O Muhammad], that they might reflect upon its verses and that those of understanding would be reminded. 29 We granted Solomon to David, a blessed servant of Ours and certainly the most repentant person. 30 When his dressage steeds were presented to him in the evening, 31 And he said: "Alas! I did love the good (these horses) instead of remembering my Lord (in my 'Asr prayer)" till the time was over, and (the sun) had hidden in the veil (of night). 32 He said, "Bring them back to me." Then he started to rub their legs and necks. 33 Surely We put Solomon to the test and cast upon his throne a mere body. Thereupon he penitently turned (to Us). 34 He said: 'Forgive me my Lord, and give me a kingdom the like of which will not befall any after me, surely, You are the Giver' 35 So we subjugated the wind to his service which carried his merchandise wheresoever he wished; 36 And also the Shayatin (devils) from the jinns (including) every kind of builder and diver, 37 and others chained in fetters. 38 (Saying): This is Our gift, so bestow thou, or withhold, without reckoning. 39 In Our eyes he certainly has a high position and the best place to return. 40
