[O Men!] Are you more difficult to create than the heaven which He has built, 27 Raised it high, proportioned it, 28 and darkened its night, and brought forth its forenoon; 29 And the earth! thereafter He stretched it out. 30 And brought forth therefrom its water and its pasture; 31 and has made the mountains firm: 32 A provision for you and for your cattle. 33 When the great over-whelming event arrives, 34 The Day when man will remember that for which he strove, 35 and when Hell is advanced for whoever sees, 36 Then, as for him who rebelled 37 And preferred the worldly life, 38 most surely his abode shall be Hell. 39 And for one who feared to stand before his Lord and restrained his soul from desire, 40 most surely his abode shall be Paradise. 41 They question thee of the Hour: when will its arrival be? 42 But how are you to know? 43 Unto thy Lord is the Knowledge of the limit fixed therefor. 44 You are only a warner to him who has a fear of it. 45 It will be, on the Day they see it, as though they had not remained [in the world] except for an afternoon or a morning thereof. 46
