The Arrangers (Al-Saaffaat)
In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful
By those [angels] lined up in rows 1 By the angels driving away. 2 And by oath of the groups that read the Qur’an. 3 Verily, verily, your Allah is one!- 4 Lord of the heavens and of the earth and all that is between them, and Lord of the sun's risings. 5 Indeed, We have adorned the nearest heaven with an adornment of stars 6 a protection against every rebel satan; 7 so they cannot listen to the High Assembly, for they are pelted from every side. 8 Being driven off, and for them is a perpetual chastisement, 9 Except those who eavesdrop and are pursued by a shooting flame. 10 (Muhammad), ask them, "Have they (people) been created stronger than what We have created?" We have created them from moist clay. 11 Yet while you are filled with wonder, they just scoff; 12 When they are reminded, they do not pay heed, 13 When they see a sign, they laugh at it, 14 saying, "This is plain sorcery!" 15 They say, "Shall we be brought to life again after we die and turn into dust and bones? 16 and perhaps also our forebears of old?" 17 You say: "Yes; and you will be lowly made." 18 So it shall only be a single cry, when lo! they shall see. 19 and will say: "Oh, woe unto us! This is the Day of Judgment!" 20 (It will be said): "This is the Day of Judgement which you used to deny." 21
