And indeed Nuh (Noah) invoked Us, and We are the Best of those who answer (the request). 75 We saved him and his people from great distress, 76 And his offspring! them We made the survivors. 77 We perpetuated his praise in later generations. 78 'Peace be upon Noah among all beings!' 79 Verily, thus do We reward the doers of good 80 Surely he was of Our believing servants. 81 Then afterwards We drowned the rest. 82 ۞ Of his party was Abraham. 83 when he came unto his Lord with a pure heart, 84 When he said to his father and to his people: "What is it that which you worship? 85 Would you serve false deities instead of God? 86 “So what do you assume regarding the Lord Of The Creation?” (That He will not punish you?) 87 And he cast a glance at the stars, 88 And he said, "I am indeed sick (at heart)!" 89 But they turned their backs on him and went away. 90 He then sneaked upon their deities and said, “Do you not eat?” 91 What is the matter with you that you do not speak? 92 And he turned upon them striking them with the right hand. 93 Then they advanced toward him, hastening. 94 He said, 'Do you serve what you hew, 95 When Allah hath created you and what ye make? 96 They said, "Construct for him a furnace and throw him into the burning fire." 97 They wanted to harm him, but We humiliated them all. 98 Abraham said: “I am going to my Lord; He will guide me. 99 (And he prayed:) "O Lord, grant me a righteous son." 100 And We gave him the glad tidings of a very gentle son (Ishmael). 101 Then, when (the son) reached (the age of) (serious) work with him, he said: "O my son! I see in vision that I offer thee in sacrifice: Now see what is thy view!" (The son) said: "O my father! Do as thou art commanded: thou will find me, if Allah so wills one practising Patience and Constancy!" 102 Then, when they had both surrendered (to Allah), and he had flung him down upon his face, 103 We called out to him "O Abraham! 104 You have fulfilled your dream." Thus do We reward the good. 105 for, behold, all this was indeed a trial, clear in itself. 106 And We ransomed him with a Feat sacrifice. 107 And We left for him (a goodly remembrance) among generations (to come) in later times. 108 Peace be unto Abraham! 109 Even so We recompense the good-doers; 110 Indeed, he was of Our believing servants. 111 And We gave him the good news of Ishaq, a prophet among the good ones. 112 And We showered Our blessings on him and on Ishaq; and of their offspring are the doers of good, and (also) those who are clearly unjust to their own souls. 113
