No, by the moon! 32 And by oath of the night when it turns back. 33 by the brightening dawn, 34 surely (Hell) is one of the greatest Signs, 35 It is a warning for mankind 36 Unto him of you who will advance or hang back. 37 Every soul will be in captivity for its deeds 38 save those who shall have attained to righteousness: 39 (They will be) in Gardens (of Delight): they will question each other, 40 about the guilty ones: 41 “What took you into the hell?” 42 They will say: "We were not of those who prayed; 43 and we did not feed the needy. 44 We indulged and persisted in useless disputes, 45 "And we used to belie the Day of Recompense 46 till the certainty (death) overtook us' 47 So, the intercession of intercessors will not avail them. 48 What aileth them, therefore, that they are from the admonition turning away? 49 As if they were affrighted asses, 50 Fleeing from a lion? 51 In fact every one of them wants to be given open books (like the prophets). 52 Nay, verily. They fear not the Hereafter. 53 No! Indeed, the Qur'an is a reminder 54 Let him who will take heed: 55 And they will not remember except that Allah wills. He is worthy of fear and adequate for [granting] forgiveness. 56
