Al-Nesaa 16 of 24

Surely, We have sent down to you (O Muhammad SAW) the Book (this Quran) in truth that you might judge between men by that which Allah has shown you (i.e. has taught you through Divine Inspiration), so be not a pleader for the treacherous. 105 Ask God for forgiveness: He is most forgiving and merciful. 106 Do not plead for those who are dishonest to themselves; Allah does not love him who betrays trust and persists in sin. 107 They hide themselves from men, but hide not themselves from God; for He is with them while they meditate at night discourse unpleasing to Him; God encompasses the things they do. 108 There you are, you have argued on their behalf in the worldly life, but who will argue with Allah on their behalf on the Day of Resurrection! Or who will be a guardian for them? 109 He who does evil or acts against his own interests (by disbelieving), then prays for God's forgiveness, will find God compassionate and merciful. 110 He who commits sin does so against his own soul. God is all knowing and wise. 111 He who commits a mistake or iniquity and ascribes it to one who is innocent, is guilty of calumny and brazen sin. 112
