Alshu'araa' 6 of 11
The people of Nooh denied the Noble Messengers. 105 When their brother Noah said to them, "Will you not fear Allah? 106 Lo! I am a faithful messenger unto you, 107 Have fear of God and obey me. 108 "No reward do I ask of you for it: my reward is only from the Lord of the Worlds: 109 "So fear Allah, and obey me." 110 ۞ They said: Shall we believe in you while the meanest follow you? 111 He said: And what knowledge have I of what they do? 112 “Indeed their account is only upon my Lord, if you perceive.” 113 "And I am not going to drive away the believers. 114 I am naught but a warner manifest. 115 They said: if thou desistest not, thou shalt surely be of those stoned. 116 He said: "My Lord! My people have branded me a liar. 117 Therefore judge You between me and them, and save me and those of the believers who are with me." 118 And We saved him and those with him in the laden ship. 119 then afterwards We drowned the rest. 120 There is certainly a sign in that; but most of them do not believe: 121 Your Lord is Majestic and All-merciful. 122
