Shattering (Al-Infitaar)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
۞ When heaven is split open, 1 And the stars dispersed, 2 When the Oceans are suffered to burst forth; 3 And when the Graves are turned upside down;- 4 A soul will [then] know what it has put forth and kept back. 5 O man! What is it that lures you away from your bountiful Sustainer, 6 Who created you then formed your symmetry, then gave you right proportion, 7 In whatever Form He wills, does He put thee together. 8 Despite this, you deny the Day of Judgment, 9 Yet over you there are watchers, 10 noble recorders, 11 who know whatever you do. 12 The virtuous ones will live in bliss 13 and the evil-doers will be in hell 14 They shall enter it on the day of judgment. 15 nor shall they ever be absent from it. 16 What could let you know what the Day of Recompense is! 17 Again, what will make you realize what the day of judgment is? 18 A day on which no soul hath power at all for any (other) soul. The (absolute) command on that day is Allah's. 19
