۞ Say: 'I give you but one admonition, that you stand unto God, two by two and one by one, and then reflect: no madness is in your comrade. He is naught but a warner unto you, before a terrible chastisement.' 46 Say to them: “Whatever recompense I might ask of you, it shall be yours. My recompense is with Allah, and He is witness over everything.” 47 Say, "Indeed, my Lord projects the truth. Knower of the unseen." 48 Say thou: the truth is come, and falsehood shall neither originate nor be restored. 49 Say: "If I am in error it is to my own loss; if I am on guidance that is so because of what my Lord reveals to me. He is all-hearing and all-too-near." 50 Couldst thou but see when they are terrified with no escape, and are seized from near at hand, 51 And they will [then] say, "We believe in it!" But how for them will be the taking [of faith] from a place far away? 52 When they disbelieved in it of yore. They aim at the unseen from afar off. 53 And so, a barrier will be set between them and all that they had [ever] desired, as will be done to such of their kind as lived before their time: for, behold, they [too] were lost in doubt amounting to suspicion. 54
