Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
By the winds sent forth with beneficence. 1 storming tempestuously 2 By those which cause earth's vegetation to revive; 3 then the criterion (the verses of Koran), separating 4 and those hurling a reminder 5 By way of excuse or warning. 6 Indeed what you are promised, will surely befall. 7 When the stars shall be extinguished, 8 Heavens will rent asunder. 9 and when the mountains crumble into dust 10 And when the time comes for raising the little girls (buried alive) -- 11 For what day has the term [of all this] been set? 12 For the Day of sorting out (the men of Paradise from the men destined for Hell). 13 And what will convey unto thee what the Day of Decision is! - 14 Woe, that Day, to the deniers. 15 Did We not destroy the ancients, 16 Thereafter We shall cause to follow them the latter ones. 17 Thus do We deal with the Mujrimun (polytheists, disbelievers, sinners, criminals, etc.)! 18 Ah woe, that Day, to the Rejecters of Truth! 19 Did We not create you from an insignificant drop of fluid 20 We then kept it in a safe place. 21 Till a limit known? 22 So We did measure, and We are the Best to measure (the things). 23 Alas the woe that day for those who deny! 24 Have We not made the earth to draw together to itself, 25 The living and the dead, 26 And have placed therein firm and tall mountains and given you to drink of water fresh 27 Woe that Day to the deniers (of the Day of Resurrection)! 28 Proceed now towards that which you were wont to deny as false; 29 Walk on to the covering having three branches, 30 “Which neither gives shade, nor saves from the flame.” 31 that shoots sparks like dry faggots, 32 As if they were tawny camels. 33 On that day, woe would be upon those who have rejected God's revelations! 34 This is a day in which they will not be able to speak. 35 Nor shall they be permitted so that they might excuse themselves. 36 Woe on that Day to those who belied it! 37 This is the Day of Judgement; We will have assembled you and the former peoples. 38 If now ye have any craft, try that craft upon Me. 39 Woe on that day to the rejecters. 40
