Shattering (Al-Infitaar)
In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate
۞ WHEN THE SKY is cleft asunder, 1 when the stars are scattered, 2 when the oceans are gushed forth, 3 And when the graves are turned upside down (and they bring out their contents) 4 every soul will see the result of its deeds - those recorded before his death and those which will produce either virtue or evil after his death. 5 O man! What has deceived you away from your Lord, the Most Beneficent? 6 who created you, fashioned you and proportioned you, 7 Shaping you into any form He pleased? 8 Even then you deny the Judgement. 9 Surely there are guardians over you, 10 Kiraman (honourable) Katibin writing down (your deeds). 11 and these honorable scribes know whatever you do. 12 Verily, the Abrar (pious and righteous) will be in delight (Paradise); 13 And the Wicked - they will be in the Fire, 14 They will enter it on the Day of Justice. 15 nor shall they ever be absent from it. 16 And what could make thee conceive what that Judgment Day will be? 17 Again, what will explain to thee what the Day of Judgment is? 18 It is the Day when no one shall have the power to do anything for another, and all command shall be Allah's. 19
