The All High (Al-A'alaa)
Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
۞ Glorify the name of thy Guardian-Lord Most High, 1 Who creates, then makes complete, 2 and who determines the nature [of all that exists,] and thereupon guides it [towards its fulfilment,] 3 And Who bringeth out the (green and luscious) pasture, 4 and thereupon causes it to decay into rust-brown stubble! 5 We shall now make you read (O dear Prophet Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him), so you will not forget. 6 save what God wills; surely He knows what is spoken aloud and what is hidden. 7 And We shall create the means of ease for you. 8 Therefore remind, if the Reminder profits, 9 and he who fears shall remember, 10 And the most unfortunate one will avoid it, 11 Who shall enter the great fire; 12 Then he will neither die in it, nor live. 13 He who purified himself shall prosper, 14 And recites the name of his Lord and serves with devotion. 15 No; but you prefer the present life, 16 While the Hereafter is better and more enduring. 17 Surely, this is in the ancient Scrolls, 18 In the Books of Ibrahim and Moosa. 19
