The Arrangers (Al-Saaffaat)
182 verses, revealed in Mecca after Animals (Al-An 'aam) before Luqmaan (Luqmaan)
In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
By those who range themselves in rows; 1 and those who drive away [the wicked] with reproof 2 Then those who recite, being mindful, 3 surely, your God is One, 4 Lord of the heavens and of the earth and all that is between them, and Lord of the sun's risings. 5 Indeed, We have adorned the nearest heaven with an adornment of stars 6 And to protect it from every rebellious devil. 7 [so that] they [who seek to learn the unknowable] should not be able to overhear the host on high, but shall be repelled from all sides, 8 Being driven off, and for them is a perpetual chastisement, 9 And if any is able to snatch a fragment, he is pursued by a piercing flame. 10 Then ask them whether they are stronger in creation or those (others) whom We have created. Surely We created them of firm clay. 11 Nay, you (O Muhammad SAW) wondered (at their insolence) while they mock (at you and at the Quran). 12 and when they are reminded [of the truth,] they refuse to take it to heart; 13 When they are shown a sign, they scoff at it 14 And say, "This is nothing but evident sorcery! 15 When we are dead and have become dust and bones, shall we then, forsooth, be raised (again)? 16 "And also our fathers of old?" 17 Say thou: and verily ye; shall then be despicable. 18 The Day of Judgment will come within a single roar and they will remain gazing at it. 19 and they will say: 'Woe for us. This is the Day of Recompense' 20 This is the Day of Judgment in which you disbelieved. 21

Notes and Instructions
قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
