Say thou: I am but warner, and there is no god but Allah, the One, the Subduer. 65 Lord of the heavens and the earth and all that lies between them, all-mighty, all-forgiving." 66 Say: It is tremendous tidings 67 "From which you turn away! 68 I had no knowledge of the exalted chiefs when they contended: 69 Only this has been revealed to me that I am a distinct warner. 70 (Remember) When your Lord said to the angels, “I will create a human from clay.” – 71 Then when I have formed him and breathed into him of My spirit, fall down before him prostrate. 72 Then the angels, all of them, prostrated themselves before Adam 73 except Iblis who puffed himself up with pride and became a disbeliever. 74 Said (God): "O Iblis, what hindered you from adoring what I created by My own authority? Are you too proud, or too high and mighty?" 75 Answered [Iblis]: "I am better than he: Thou hast created me out of fire, whereas him Thou hast created out of clay." 76 (Allah) said: "Then get out from here, for verily, you are outcast. 77 “And indeed My curse is upon you till the Day of Judgement.” 78 He said, "Lord, grant me respite until the Day of Resurrection". 79 Allah said: verily, thou art of those respited. 80 “Until the time of the known day.” 81 (Iblis) said: “By Your glory, I shall mislead them all 82 Except Thy servants from among them, the purified ones. 83 (Allah) said: "The Truth is, and the Truth I say, 84 “That I will fill hell with you and with those among them who follow you, all together.” 85 Say, [O Muhammad], "I do not ask you for the Qur'an any payment, and I am not of the pretentious 86 This is nothing else but a reminder to all the worlds, 87 and after a while you shall know its news' 88
