Drivers of the Winds (Al-Dhaareyaat)
In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
By the (Winds) that scatter broadcast; 1 And those who bear the load (of rain), 2 And the ships that glide with ease. 3 and the partitioners, 4 What you are promised is certainly true: 5 And verily Judgment and Justice must indeed come to pass. 6 By the heaven full of paths, 7 surely, you are in different sayings, 8 Turned aside therefrom (i.e. from Muhammad SAW and the Quran) is he who is turned aside (by the Decree and Preordainment of Allah). 9 Cursed be the liars, 10 and who wander in the abyss of confusion. 11 They ask, "When will be the Day of Judgment and Justice?" 12 Upon the day when they shall be tried at the Fire: 13 Taste your persecution! this is what you would hasten on. 14 As to the Righteous, they will be in the midst of Gardens and Springs, 15 Receiving what is given them by their Lord. They were surely the virtuous before this. 16 sleeping little in the night-time, 17 praying at dawn for God's pardon, 18 In whose wealth the suppliant and the deprived had a share. 19 And in the earth there are signs for those who are sure, 20 And within yourselves. Can you not perceive? 21 And in the heaven lies your sustenance, and the promise you are given. 22 By the Lord of the heaven and the earth, it is certainly the truth. It is as true as your ability to speak. 23
