WHAT, THEN, is amiss with such as are bent on denying the truth, that they run about confusedly to and fro before thee, 36 From the right and the left, in groups? 37 Does every one of them desire to enter the bountiful Paradise? 38 No! Indeed, We have created them from that which they know. 39 So I swear by the Lord of the Easts and the Wests that We are certainly able 40 to exchange them with others better than they; nothing can outstrip Us! 41 Hence, leave them to indulge in idle talk and play [with words] until they face that [Judgment] Day of theirs which they have been promised 42 The Day whereon they will issue from their sepulchres in sudden haste as if they were rushing to a goal-post (fixed for them),- 43 Their eyes lowered in dejection, ignominy covering them (all over)! such is the Day the which they are promised! 44
