The Rolling (Al-Takweer)
29 verses, revealed in Mecca after Thorns (Al-Masad) before The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
When the sun shall be darkened, 1 when the stars shall be thrown down, 2 and when the mountains are moved, 3 And when the camels big with young are abandoned, 4 when the savage beasts shall be mustered, 5 And when the seas shall be filled, 6 When the souls are sorted out, (being joined, like with like); 7 And when the girl-child that was buried alive is asked 8 For what crime she was killed; 9 when the scrolls are unrolled, 10 and when heaven is laid bare, 11 And when Hellfire is set ablaze 12 and Paradise is brought near, 13 [on that Day] every human being will come to know what he has prepared [for himself]. 14 So, I call the receding stars to witness, 15 the planets that run their course and set, 16 by the night swarming, 17 by the dawn sighing, 18 Verily this is the word of a most honourable Messenger, 19 endowed with power and held in honour by the Lord of the Throne -- 20 who is obeyed there and is worthy of trust. 21 Nor is your companion distracted. 22 he indeed saw the message-bearer on the clear horizon; 23 He is not avid of the Unseen. 24 And it (the Quran) is not the word of the outcast Shaitan (Satan). 25 Then where are you going? 26 This is certainly the guidance for all (jinn and mankind). 27 To whomsoever among you who wills to walk straight, 28 But you cannot will it unless God, the Lord of the Universe, so wills it [to show you that way]. 29
Almighty Allah's Truth.
