Surely the people of al-Hijr also rejected the Messengers, calling them liars. 80 We gave them Our signs, but they turned away from them. 81 And they hewed houses in the mountains in security. 82 and so the blast [of Our punishment] overtook them at early morn, 83 And that which they were wont to count as gain availed them not. 84 We have not created but with reason the heavens and the earth and all that lies within them. The Hour (of the great change) is certain to come. So turn away (from them) with a grace. 85 Your Lord is indeed the Creator of all, the All-Knowing. 86 (Muhammad), We have given you the seven most repeated (verses) and the great Quran. 87 Do not extend your eyes toward that by which We have given enjoyment to [certain] categories of the disbelievers, and do not grieve over them. And lower your wing to the believers 88 And proclaim, “Indeed I, yes I, am the clear Herald of Warning.” 89 such as We send down for those who are divisive, 90 and who have broken the Scripture into fragments -- 91 Now by thy Lord, We shall surely question them all together 92 Of what they used to do. 93 Therefore proclaim openly (Allah's Message Islamic Monotheism) that which you are commanded, and turn away from Al-Mushrikun (polytheists, idolaters, and disbelievers, etc. - see V. 2:105). 94 Lo! We defend thee from the scoffers, 95 Who set some other god along with Allah. But they will come to know. 96 And indeed We know that you are disheartened by their speech. 97 Proclaim thy Lord's praise, and be of those that bow, 98 Worship your Lord until you achieve the ultimate certainty. 99
