The Poets (Alshu'araa')

In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful

۞ Ta. Sin. Mim. 1 These are the verses of the illustrious Book. 2 You may perhaps wear out your heart because they do not come to belief. 3 Had We wanted, We would have sent them a miracle from the sky to make their heads hang down in submission. 4 Whenever there comes to them any fresh warning from the Merciful, they always turn their backs on it: 5 So they have surely belied; wherefore anon there shall come unto them the truth of that whereat they were wont to mock. 6 Do they not see the earth, and what beneficial kinds of things We have caused to grow in it? 7 Verily therein is a sign; yet most of them are not believers. 8 Your Lord, He is the Almighty, the Most Merciful. 9
