The people of Nuh rejected the apostles. 105 When their brother Nuh (Noah) said to them: "Will you not fear Allah and obey Him? 106 I am a trustworthy Messenger to you; 107 So fear Allah and obey me. 108 I ask no payment from you for my preaching. The Lord of the Universe will give me my reward. 109 So fear Allah and obey me." 110 ۞ They replied: 'Are we to believe you whom the lowliest follow' 111 Said he: "And what knowledge could I have as to what they were doing [before they came to me]? 112 "Their account is only with my Lord, if ye could (but) understand. 113 I do not drive away the believers. 114 I am none but a plain warner." 115 They said, "Noah, if you do not desist, you will be stoned." 116 He said: My Lord! Lo! my own folk deny me. 117 Therefor judge Thou between us, a (conclusive) judgment, and save me and those believers who are with me. 118 Thereafter We rescued him and those who were with him in the laden Ark 119 Then We drowned the rest afterwards 120 In this [story,] behold, there is a message [unto men,] even though most of them will not believe [in it]. 121 And indeed your Lord, only He is the Almighty, the Most Merciful. 122
