The Companions of the Wood rejected the messengers. 176 What time Shu'aib said unto them: fear ye not? 177 Verily I am unto you an apostle trusted. 178 “Therefore fear Allah and obey me.” 179 "No reward do I ask of you for it (my Message of Islamic Monotheism), my reward is only from the Lord of the 'Alamin (mankind, jinns and all that exists). 180 ۞ Give full measure, and cause no loss to others. 181 Weigh on an even balance. 182 "And defraud not people by reducing their things, nor do evil, making corruption and mischief in the land. 183 "And fear Him Who created you and the generations of the men of old." 184 They said: "You are no more than one of those who have been bewitched, 185 “You are just a human like us, and indeed we consider you a liar.” 186 "Now cause a piece of the sky to fall on us, if thou art truthful!" 187 He said: "My Lord is the Best Knower of what you do." 188 But they gave him the lie. And thereupon suffering overtook them on a day dark with shadows: and verily, it was the suffering of an awesome day! 189 Surely in that is a sign, yet most of them are not believers. 190 your Lord is the Mighty One, the Merciful. 191
