Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
By the loosed ones successively 1 Which then blow violently in tempestuous Gusts, 2 Then by oath of those that lift and carry. 3 Then by those that clearly differentiate the right and wrong. 4 And then by those that instil Remembrance into the hearts. 5 To excuse or to warn, 6 Indeed what you are promised, will surely befall. 7 When the stars lose their light, 8 The heavens split asunder, 9 And when the mountains are carried away by wind. 10 and when the Messengers' time is set, 11 For which day were they appointed? 12 The Day of Judgement. 13 And what shall teach thee what is the Day of Decision? 14 Alas the woe that day for those who deny! 15 Destroyed We not the former folk, 16 Thereafter We shall cause to follow them the latter ones. 17 [for] thus do We deal with such as are lost in sin. 18 On that day, woe upon those who have rejected God's revelations! 19 Did We not create you of a mean water, 20 which We then placed in a secure repository 21 for an appointed term? 22 We determined; excellent determiners are We. 23 Woe on that Day to those who reject the truth! 24 Have We not made the earth to draw together to itself, 25 for the living and for the dead? 26 Set We not therein soaring mountains? Sated you with sweetest water? 27 Woe, that Day, to the deniers. 28 [They will be told], "Proceed to that which you used to deny. 29 Depart to a triple-massing shadow 30 wherein there is neither shade, nor freeing from the blazing flames 31 and throwing up sparks as huge as towers 32 like giant fiery ropes! 33 Woe, that Day, to the deniers. 34 This is the Day they shall not speak, 35 Nor shall they be permitted so that they might excuse themselves. 36 Woe unto the repudiators on that day! 37 This is the Day of Judgement. We have assembled you all together with past generations. 38 If you have any plans, use them. 39 Woe unto the repudiators on that day! 40
