What, are you harder to create than the heaven which He has built? 27 He lifted up its vault, and levelled it, 28 And He made its night dark, and started its light. 29 And after that He spread the earth. 30 produced water and grass therefrom, 31 and firmly fixed in it mountains; 32 an enjoyment for you and your herds. 33 But when there comes the greatest catastrophe (i.e. the Day of Recompense, etc.), 34 upon the day when man shall remember what he has striven, 35 And hell will stand forth visible to him who seeth, 36 then as for him who was insolent 37 and preferred the present life, 38 Verily, his abode will be Hell-fire; 39 And for one who feared to stand before his Lord and restrained his soul from desire, 40 Then surely the garden-- that is the abode. 41 They ask you, [O Muhammad], about the Hour: when is its arrival? 42 Why (ask they)? What hast thou to tell thereof? 43 To your Lord is its finality. 44 You are only a warner to him who would fear it. 45 On the Day when they behold it, [it will seem to them] as if they had tarried [in this world] no longer than one evening or [one night, ending with] its morn! 46
