The Shocker (Al-Qaare'ah)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Quraish (Quraish) before Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah)

In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

The Calamity! 1 What is the Calamity? 2 What shall Make thee know that which the Striking is? 3 On that Day people shall become like scattered moths 4 And the mountains will become as carded wool. 5 And then, he whose weight [of good deeds] is heavy in the balance 6 He shall live a pleasant life. 7 whereas he whose weight is light in the balance 8 His abode shall be the abyss. 9 How will you comprehend what that is? 10 A burning fire. 11
