The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)

In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate

By the snorting, panting horses, 1 And strike sparks of fire, 2 Then those that make raids at morn, 3 and leave behind a cloud of dust 4 Then rush thereby upon an assembly: 5 Indeed man is very ungrateful towards his Lord. 6 and he himself is a witness to that, 7 for, verily, to the love of wealth is he most ardently devoted. 8 ۞ Does he not know when the contents of the graves are laid bare 9 and that which is in the chest is brought out, 10 surely on that day their Lord shall be aware of them! 11
