The nation of Noah, belied their Messengers. 105 when their brother Noah said unto them: "Will you not be conscious of God? 106 I am for you a faithful Messenger, 107 so fear Allah and obey me. 108 I ask of you no wage for this; my wage falls only upon the Lord of all Being; 109 “Therefore fear Allah, and obey me.” 110 ۞ They said: "Shall we believe in you, when the meanest (of the people) follow you?" 111 Said he: "And what knowledge could I have as to what they were doing [before they came to me]? 112 "Their account is only with my Lord, if ye could (but) understand. 113 I would not drive away the believers; 114 'I am naught but a plain warner.' 115 They said: If thou cease not, O Noah, thou wilt surely be among those stoned (to death). 116 He said, 'My Lord, my people have cried me lies, 117 hence, lay Thou wide open the truth between me and them, and save me and those of the believers who are with me!" 118 So We saved him and those with him in the laden ship. 119 Then We drowned the rest thereafter. 120 There is certainly a sign in that; but most of them do not believe: 121 Verily Your Lord is Immensely Mighty, Ever Compassionate. 122
