And there certainly came to the people of Pharaoh warning. 41 They belied Our signs everyone thereof; whereof We laid hold of them with the grip of the Mighty, Powerful. 42 Are your infidels better than these? Or is there an immunity for you in the Writs? 43 Or do they say: "We acting together can defend ourselves"? 44 The hosts will all be routed and will turn and flee. 45 In fact their promise is upon the Last Day – and the Last Day is very severe and very bitter! 46 Indeed the criminals are astray and insane. 47 On the day when they are dragged upon their faces in the fire – “Taste the heat of hell.” 48 Verily everything! We have created it by a measure. 49 Our command consists of only one Word which is carried out in the twinkling of an eye. 50 We have destroyed the likes of you; is there any that will remember? 51 All their deeds are recorded in their books: 52 And every small and great [thing] is inscribed. 53 Indeed the pious are amidst Gardens and springs. 54 where they will be honourably seated in the presence of a King, Mighty in Power. 55
