Thorns (Al-Masad)

5 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Key (Al-Faatehah) before The Rolling (Al-Takweer)

In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

The power of Abu Lahab will perish, and he will perish. 1 What will his wealth avail him, and all that he has gained? 2 He will soon enter the flaming fire. 3 And his wife, the portress of fire wood, 4 Upon her neck a halter of strongly twisted rope. 5

Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
