He it is Who hath created for you ears and eyes and hearts. Small thanks give ye! 78 And it is He Who has spread you in the earth, and towards Him you are to be raised. 79 It is He who gives life and causes death and it is He who alternates night and day. Will you not then understand? 80 And talk as did the people of old. 81 They said, 'What, when we are dead and become dust and bones, shall we be indeed raised up? 82 We were already promised this, we and our forefathers. Lo! this is naught but fables of the men of old. 83 Say, "To whom do the earth and all therein belong? Tell me, if you have any knowledge?" 84 They will say, "To Allah!" say: "Yet will ye not receive admonition?" 85 Ask them, "Who is the Lord of the seven heavens and the Great Throne?" 86 They will say, "(They belong) to Allah." Say: "Will ye not then be filled with awe?" 87 Say "In Whose Hand is the sovereignty of everything (i.e. treasures of each and everything)? And He protects (all), while against Whom there is no protector, (i.e. if Allah saves anyone none can punish or harm him, and if Allah punishes or harms anyone none can save him), if you know." Say: From whence are you then deceived? 89 Nay, We have conveyed unto them the truth: and yet, behold, they are intent on lying [to themselves]! 90 No son did Allah beget, nor is there any god along with Him: (if there were many gods), behold, each god would have taken away what he had created, and some would have lorded it over others! Glory to Allah! (He is free) from the (sort of) things they attribute to Him! 91 [He is] Knower of the unseen and the witnessed, so high is He above what they associate [with Him]. 92
