Y S (Yaa Seen)
In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
O THOU human being! 1 By the wise Qur'an. 2 verily, thou art indeed one of God's message-bearers, 3 On a path that is straight, -- 4 A revelation of the Mighty, the Merciful. 5 so that you may warn a people who are unaware because their fathers were not warned. 6 The word has been proved true against the greater part of them: they will not believe. 7 Behold, around their necks We have put shackles, reaching up to their chins, so that their heads are forced up; 8 We have set-up a barrier in front of and behind them and have made them blind. Thus, they cannot see. 9 Whether thou warn them or thou warn them not, it is alike for them, for they believe not. 10 You should only warn those who follow the Quran and have fear of the Beneficent God without seeing Him. Give them the glad news of their receiving forgiveness and an honorable reward (from God). 11 It is We who bring the dead to life and records the deeds of human beings and their consequences (of continual effects). We keep everything recorded in an illustrious Book. 12
