S (Saad)
In the name of God, The Most Gracious, The Dispenser of Grace
Sad. I swear by the Quran, which is full of reminders of God, (that you are a Messenger). 1 But those who disbelieve are in pride and dissension. 2 How many did We destroy before them of the generations, then they cried while the time of escaping had passed away. 3 And they (Arab pagans) wonder that a warner (Prophet Muhammad SAW) has come to them from among themselves! And the disbelievers say: "This (Prophet Muhammad SAW) is a sorcerer, a liar. 4 Does he claim that all the deities are [but] one God? Verily, a most strange thing is this!" 5 And their leaders went about, “Leave him and cling steadfastly to your Gods! Indeed he has a hidden objective in this!” 6 We have not heard of this in the last religion; this is surely an invention. 7 Can it be that he alone has received the Quran?" In fact, they have doubts about My Quran and this is because they have not yet faced (My) torment. 8 Do they possess the treasures of the mercy of your, (Muhammad's), Lord, the Majestic and Munificent God? 9 Or have they the dominion of the heavens and the earth and all between? If so, let them mount up with the ropes and means (to reach that end)! 10 A defeated host are (all) the factions that are there. 11 Cried lies before them the people of Noah, and Ad, and Pharaoh, he of the tent-pegs, 12 and the tribe of Thamud, and the people of Lot, and the dwellers of the Wood -- these were the confederates. 13 not one [was there] but gave the lie to the apostles - and thereupon My retribution fell due. 14
