۞ Then I swear by the setting of the stars, 75 And that is indeed a tremendous oath, if you understand. 76 That it is a Recitation honourable. 77 Kept in a secure Book. 78 Which none shall touch but those who are clean: 79 a revelation from the Lord of the Universe. 80 How can you regard this discourse with disdain? 81 And instead (of thanking Allah) for the provision He gives you, on the contrary, you deny Him (by disbelief)! 82 Why can you not help a soul dying 83 And ye are at that moment looking 84 But We (i.e. Our angels who take the soul) are nearer to him than you, but you see not, [Tafsir At-Tabari, Vol. 27, Page 209] 85 Then why, if you are not indebted (to Us for life), 86 Call back the soul, if ye are true (in the claim of independence)? 87 [ALL OF YOU are destined to die.] Now if one happens to be of those who are drawn close unto God, 88 then happiness and delight and Gardens of Bliss are his. 89 And if he be of the Companions of the Right Hand, 90 Then there is safety and peace (from the Punishment of Allah) for (you as you are from) those on the Right Hand. 91 But if he is one of those who rejected [the truth] and went astray, 92 there shall be a hospitality of boiling water 93 And burning in hell. 94 That indeed is the absolute truth. 95 So glorify the name of your Lord, the Great One. 96
