In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate
By those [winds] sent forth in gusts 1 And those that strike violently, 2 and raise (clouds) and scatter them around, 3 by (the angels) who make a clear distinction between right and wrong 4 And those that bring down the Reminder 5 excusing or warning, 6 Surely what you are promised shall come to pass. 7 Then the stars will lose their light. 8 The heavens split asunder, 9 The mountains will be blown away as dust. 10 and when all the apostles are called together at a time appointed... 11 For what day is it timed? 12 For the Day of Decision. 13 And what can make you know what is the Day of Judgement? 14 Woe on that Day to those that give the lie to the Truth! 15 Did We not destroy the ancient people 16 So shall We make the later ones to follow them. 17 So We serve the sinners. 18 Woe on that day to the rejecters. 19 Did We not create you out of a humble fluid 20 which We placed within a sure lodging 21 for an appointed term? 22 Thus did We Plan and how excellent is Our planning! 23 Ruin is for the deniers on that day! 24 Have We not made the earth a receptacle 25 Both for the living and the dead, 26 place on it high mountains and provide you with fresh water? 27 Woe that Day to the deniers (of the Day of Resurrection)! 28 (It will be said unto them:) Depart unto that (doom) which ye used to deny; 29 "Depart you to a shadow (of Hell-fire smoke ascending) in three columns, 30 "(Which yields) no shade of coolness, and is of no use against the fierce Blaze. 31 Verily! It (Hell) throws sparks (huge) as Al-Qasr [a fort or a Qasr (huge log of wood)], 32 As though they were camels yellow tawny. 33 On that day, woe would be upon those who have rejected God's revelations! 34 This is the Day they shall not speak, 35 neither be given leave, and excuse themselves. 36 Woe on that day to the rejecters. 37 That is the Day of Judgement on which We have assembled you as well as all those who went before you. 38 If now ye have any craft, try that craft upon Me. 39 Woe on that Day to those that give the lie to the Truth! 40
