He said: my Lord! expand for me my breast. 25 'and do Thou ease for me my task. 26 "And remove the impediment from my speech, 27 so that they may understand me. 28 And appoint for me a minister from my household. 29 Let it be my brother Aaron 30 "Increase my strength with him, 31 and let him share my task, 32 "That we may glorify You much, 33 and remember You much: 34 Surely You know us well." 35 He said: "Moses, your petition is granted. 36 And assuredly We conferred a benefit on thee another time. 37 When We revealed to your mother what was revealed; 38 [Saying], 'Cast him into the chest and cast it into the river, and the river will throw it onto the bank; there will take him an enemy to Me and an enemy to him.' And I bestowed upon you love from Me that you would be brought up under My eye. 39 Recall when your sister walked along and said, "Shall I guide you to one who will take care of him?" Thus We returned you to your mother, so that her eyes might be cooled and that she might not grieve. And you killed a man and We delivered you from sorrow. We tested you with various trials. You stayed for a number of years among the people of Midian, then you came upto the standard, Moses. 40 I chose you for Myself. 41 Go with My signs, you and your brother, and do not be lax in remembering Me. 42 Go both to Firon, surely he has become inordinate; 43 And speak to him with gentle speech that perhaps he may be reminded or fear [Allah]." 44 'O our Lord' both said, 'We fear lest he may be excessive against us or become insolent' 45 He (Allah) said: "Fear not, verily! I am with you both, hearing and seeing. 46 “Therefore go to him and say, ‘We are the sent ones of your Lord, therefore let the Descendants of Israel go with us, and do not trouble them; we have indeed brought to you a sign from your Lord; and peace be upon him who follows the guidance.’ 47 Verily we! it hath been revealed unto us that the torment will be for him who belieth and turneth away. 48 He (Pharaoh) said: 'Moses, who is the Lord of you both' 49 'Our Lord' he replied, 'is He Who gave everything its creation and then guided it' 50 He (Pharaoh) asked: 'How was it then, with the former generations' 51 Musa said: the knowledge thereof is with my Lord in the Book; my Lord erreth not, nor He forgetteth. 52 It is God who has made the earth as a cradle for you with roads for you to travel. He has sent water from the sky to produce various pairs of plants. 53 Eat (for yourselves) and pasture your cattle: verily, in this are Signs for men endued with understanding. 54
