Al-Mu' minoon 3 of 6
The chiefs of the people who did not believe and denied the life to come, though We had given them good things of this life to enjoy, (said): "He is only a mortal like you. He eats as you do, and drinks as you drink. 33 If you obey a mortal like yourselves, you shall be lost. 34 "Does he promise that when ye die and become dust and bones, ye shall be brought forth (again)? 35 ۞ Far-fetched, utterly far-fetched is what you are being promised. 36 There is naught but our life of the world; we die and we live, and we shall not be raised (again). 37 He is only a man who has invented a lie about God, and we are not going to believe him!" 38 He said: 'Help me, Lord, they belie me' 39 He answered: "A short while, and they shall be repenting." 40 Then the shout laid hold of them in truth, and We made them a refuse; so away with the wrong-doing people! 41 Thereafter, after them, We produced other generations; 42 no nation outstrips its term, nor do they put it back. 43 Then We sent Our Messengers in succession. Whenever a Messenger came to his people they rejected him, calling him a liar. Thereupon, We made each people to follow the other (to its doom), reducing them to mere tales (of the past). Scourged be the people who do not believe! 44 Then We sent Musa and his brother Haroun, with Our communications and a clear authority, 45 Unto Fir'awn and his chiefs, but they grew stiff-necked, and they were a people self-exalting. 46 So they said: shall we believe in two human beings like unto us, while their nation are to us slaves? 47 So they denied them and were of those destroyed. 48 And We gave Moses the Book that people might be guided by it. 49 And We made the son of Mary and his mother as a Sign: We gave them both shelter on high ground, affording rest and security and furnished with springs. 50

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
