He built it, 27 He raised its ceiling and proportioned it. 28 and darkened its night and brought forth its morning. 29 And the earth! thereafter He stretched it out. 30 He brought forth from it its water and its pasturage. 31 and firmly fixed in it mountains; 32 A provision for you and for your cattle. 33 When the great over-whelming event arrives, 34 On that day man will recall all what he strove for. 35 and Hell is there for all to see, 36 For, unto him who shall have transgressed the bounds of what is right, 37 and preferred the worldly life, 38 Verily the Scorch! that shall be his resort. 39 But as for him who feared the Station of his Lord and forbade the soul its caprice, 40 shall dwell in Paradise. 41 They ask you: "When will the Hour be? When is its time fixed?" 42 What do you have to do with explaining it? 43 To your Lord is the goal of it. 44 You are only a warner to him who has a fear of it. 45 The Day they see it, (It will be) as if they had tarried but a single evening, or (at most till) the following morn! 46
