Shattering (Al-Infitaar)
Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
۞ When the Sky is cleft asunder; 1 And when the stars fall, scattering, 2 And when the seas are burst forth (got dried up); 3 and the graves are turned inside out, 4 A soul will [then] know what it has put forth and kept back. 5 O human! What has deceived you concerning your Generous Lord 6 who created thee and shaped thee and wrought thee in symmetry 7 In whatever Form He wills, does He put thee together. 8 Nay! But you deny the Recompense (reward for good deeds and punishment for evil deeds). 9 And yet, verily, there are ever-watchful forces over you, 10 noble, recording, 11 They know (and understand) all that ye do. 12 The pious will surely be in heaven, 13 And indeed the sinners are in hell. 14 They will enter it on the Day of Justice. 15 nor shall they ever be absent from it. 16 And what shall teach thee what is the Day of Doom? 17 Again, what do you know what the Day of Recompense is? 18 The day on which no soul will have the authority over any other soul; and on that day, the entire command belongs to Allah. 19
