Al-Duhaa
The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Dawn (Al-Fajr) before Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)
In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
By the morning brightness, 1 and by the night when it covers, 2 Thy Lord has neither forsaken thee nor hates thee 3 And verily the Hereafter will be better for thee than the present. 4 And soon will thy Guardian-Lord give thee (that wherewith) thou shalt be well-pleased. 5 Did He not find thee an orphan, and shelter thee? 6 And find you lost (that is, unrecognized by men) and guide (them to you)? 7 Did He not find thee destitute and enrich (thee)? 8 As for the orphan, do not oppress him, 9 and as for the beggar, scold him not; 10 but proclaim the blessings of your Lord. 11
God the Almighty always says the truth.
