Al-Aadeyaat
The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
By (the horses) that charge snorting, 1 Striking stones with their hooves, sparking fire. 2 rushing to assault at morn, 3 blazing a trail of dust, 4 which engulfs the enemy. 5 Verily! Man (disbeliever) is ungrateful to his Lord; 6 And is himself witness to it, 7 And most surely he is tenacious in the love of wealth. 8 ۞ But does he not know that when the contents of the graves are scattered 9 And the hearts' contents shall be brought into the open? 10 On that day will their Lord be perfectly informed concerning them. 11
Almighty Allah's Truth.
