Pray, “My Lord! If You show me the promise they are given,” 93 My Lord, then do not place me among the wrongdoing people." 94 And We are certainly able to show thee (in fulfilment) that against which they are warned. 95 Repel evil with that which is better. We know that which they describe. 96 And pray: "My Lord! I seek Your refuge from the suggestions of the evil ones; 97 And I seek refuge in Thee! O my Lord! from their presence. 98 Until, when death comes to one* of them, he says, “O my Lord, send me back!” (The disbelievers) 99 That I may do some good I did not do (in the world)." Not so. These are only words he utters. Behind them lies the intervening barrier (stretching) to the day of their resurrection. 100 When the trumpet is blown, on that Day there will be no ties of relationship between them; neither will they ask about one another: 101 Those whose scales are heavy shall prosper, 102 But those whose balance is light, will be those who have lost their souls, in Hell will they abide. 103 The fire shall scorch their faces, and they will remain dejected in it. 104 Were not My communications recited to you? But you used to reject them. 105 They will say: Our Lord! Our evil fortune conquered us, and we were erring folk. 106 “Our Lord, remove us from hell – then if we do the same, we are the unjust.” 107 God will say, "Stay there and do not speak to Me. 108 There was a group of my servants among you who always prayed: Lord, forgive us and grant us mercy; You are the best of those who show mercy. 109 But you took them for a laughing-stock, till they made you forget My remembrance, mocking at them. 110 [But,] behold, today I have rewarded them for their patience in adversity: verily, it is they, they who have achieved a triumph!" 111 He will say: "What number of years did ye stay on earth?" 112 They will reply: 'A day, or part of a day; ask those who have kept count' 113 He shall say, 'You have tarried but a little, did you know. 114 Did you imagine that We created you without any purpose, and that you will not be brought back to Us?" 115 God is the most exalted King and the Supreme Truth. He is the only God and the Lord of the Gracious Throne. 116 And the one who worships any other God along with Allah – of which he does not have any proof – his account is with his Lord; indeed there is no salvation for the disbelievers. 117 Say: "My Lord, forgive and have mercy. You are the best of the merciful." 118
