Al-Dukhaan 3 of 3
The tree of Zaqqum will indeed be 43 Will be the food of the sinners, 44 like molten lead will it boil in the belly, 45 Like the churning of boiling water. 46 Lay hold of him, and drag him unto the midst of the Flaming Fire. 47 "Then pour over his head the torment of scalding water." 48 Taste this; you who considered yourself the mighty, the honourable! 49 This is that concerning which you were doubting.' 50 Surely those who fear and follow the straight path will be in a place of peace and security 51 amidst gardens and springs. 52 Attired in fine silk and brocade, facing each other. 53 Even so (it will be). And We shall wed them unto fair ones with wide, lovely eyes. 54 In that [paradise] they shall [rightfully] claim all the fruits [of their past deeds,] resting in security; 55 They will not taste death therein except the first death, and He will have protected them from the punishment of Hellfire 56 By the munificence of your Lord; this is the great success. 57 (O Prophet), We have made this Book easy in your tongue so that they may take heed. 58 Wait thou then; verily they also are waiting. 59

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
