But no; I swear by what you see, 38 And what you do not see 39 Most surely, it is the Word brought by an honored Apostle, 40 And it is not the word of a poet; little do you believe. 41 nor is it the speech of a soothsayer little do you remember. 42 [it is] a revelation from the Sustainer of all the worlds. 43 And if he had fabricated against Us some of the sayings, 44 We surely should have seized him by his right hand (or with power and might), 45 And then severed his life-artery, 46 Nor could any of you withhold him (from Our wrath). 47 But verily this is a Message for the Allah-fearing. 48 We certainly know that some among you will give the lie to it, 49 It is surely the nemesis of unbelievers. 50 And most surely it is the true certainty 51 Therefore (O dear Prophet Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him), proclaim the purity of your Lord, the Greatest. 52
