The Backbiter (Al-Hummazah)

9 verses, revealed in Mecca after Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah) before Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)

In the name of God, The Most Gracious, The Dispenser of Grace

Woe to every slanderer and backbiter. 1 [Woe unto him who amasses wealth and counts it a safeguard, 2 thinking his riches have made him immortal! 3 By no means! He shall surely be cast into the Crushing Fire. 4 What shall let you know what the Crusher is? 5 It is the fire kindled by Allah, 6 roaring over the hearts 7 covered down upon them, 8 in endless columns! 9

God the Almighty always says the truth.
