Al-Duhaa

The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Dawn (Al-Fajr) before Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)

In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate

By the white forenoon 1 And [by] the night when it covers with darkness, 2 Thy Guardian-Lord hath not forsaken thee, nor is He displeased. 3 The reward in the next life will certainly be better for you than worldly gains. 4 And your Lord is going to give you, and you will be satisfied. 5 Did He not find you orphaned and shelter you? 6 Did He not find you wandering, and give you guidance? 7 And found you in need, so made you prosperous? 8 As for the orphan, do not oppress him, 9 And as for the petitioner, do not repel [him]. 10 and as for thy Lord's blessing, declare it. 11

God the Almighty always says the truth.
