Al-A 'araaf 8 of 24

We sent Noah to his people. He said, "O my people, worship God; you have no other god but He. I fear for you the punishment of a dreadful Day," 59 Said the Council of his people, 'We see thee in manifest error.' 60 'I am not in error, my nation' he replied. 'I am a Messenger from the Lord of the Worlds 61 (sent) to convey to you the messages of my Lord and to advise you, for I know from Allah what you do not know. 62 Does it seem strange to you that a reminder from your Lord should be sent to a man, from among you, to warn you so that you might receive mercy?" 63 But they rejected him, and We delivered him, and those with him, in the Ark: but We overwhelmed in the flood those who rejected Our signs. They were indeed a blind people! 64
